Urban Team Nationals in Boston
CitySquash took almost 60 students to participate in the Urban National Team Championships in Boston this past weekend. CitySquashers had a great weekend of squash, with three of our six teams finishing in 2nd place - GU-13, BU-13 and GU-15. On the academics front, CitySquasher Katiria Sanchez won the high school essay prize for her piece on adversity. CitySquashers thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, which included reconnecting with friends from other urban squash programs, visiting the New England Acquarium and Quincy Market and touring Northeastern University, Harvard College, and Brooks School. Many thanks to SquashBusters and Harvard Athletics for hosting the squash matches, and to the Adams House Masters, Brooks School and Elanor Shannon for housing our students!
