Briggs Cup

The Briggs Cup is a major CitySquash fundraising benefit held biannually, named in honor of former CitySquash board member Peter Briggs. Hosted by the Apawamis Club in Rye, NY, and surrounding clubs in Rye and Greenwich, the Briggs Cup is a professional doubles squash tournament with the largest purse in the sport. The 2009 Briggs Cup, the fourth installment of the tournament, will again be run by Peter Briggs and co-chaired by Steve Mandel and Peer Pedersen.
